On this floor the unique and ongoing story of the Jewish people is presented – from ancient times to the present day.In it you will find times of prosperity, thriving and cultural dialogue alongside times of persecution and oppression. This journey of millennia starts with Jewish migrations, follows the great centers of Jewish life, culture and wisdom, and ends in the rise of the Jewish people after the Holocuast, with the foundation of the state if Israel and the many Jewish communities of today. The floor is arranged along a chronological timeline – you are invited to follow the story.
