Jewish religious objects often bear traces that previous generations left behind. The term Judaica is frequently used to describe the objects which are handed down in the family from one generation to the next, such as a Shabbat (Sabbath) candelabra, a shofar (ram’s horn)or a spice box.
In recent years, however, one can also find a new category of religious artifacts, called modern Judaica. They are created for Jews who have a passion for religious artifacts whose design depicts their social and cultural here and now.
