The herzliya hebrew Gymnasium in Tel Aviv played an important role in the hebrew education revolution in the Land of Israel. Youth graduated from that high school speaking native hebrew. In subsequent years, hebrew was also taught in kindergartens, elementary schools and in a special adult education framework called an ulpan. hebrew instruction spread beyond the Land of Israel as well, reaching numerous Jewish communities worldwide.
