About 100 Jewish film festivals are held around the world every year – ranging from the oldest one in San Francisco to festivals in Paris, Budapest, Warsaw, Hong Kong and Israel. Jewish culture and Jewish identity are the focus of these festivals, which also serve as a meeting place for audiences interested in those themes. Films from across the globe and all genres are screened at the festivals, including feature films, documentary films, animated films and others.
