The newspaper was published after World War II to help people locate
relatives and friends that they had lost contact with during the Holocaust.
Thanks to this initiative, 30,000 people living in pre-State Israel were
reunited with their refugee relatives and 60,000 Holocaust survivors in
Europe were able to establish contact with their families in Israel.
