Born in White Plains, New York, Zuckerberg studied psychology at Harvard University. He launched Facebook with college roommates, based on a code he wrote in 2003. At first only in Harvard, the site expanded rapidly to many other universities. Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to focus on his company. In 2007, at age 23, Zuckerberg became the world’s youngest self-made billionaire. In 2012, Facebook held its stock market launch. As of 2020 Facebook has over 2.6 billion users.
